We're in the thick of a bathroom remodel and the tile work is really coming together. This is the kind of progress that's easy to get excited about - a clean white subway tile surround going up around the tub, floor-to-ceiling, with tight, consistent grout lines throughout.

Here's the thing about tile work in a bathroom - it's not just about looks. Done right, it creates a surface that holds up against moisture, daily use, and years of wear. Done wrong, you're dealing with cracked grout, water getting behind the walls, and a bigger problem than you started with. That's why we take our time getting it right the first time.

The subway tile layout here is classic for a reason. It's clean, it's timeless, and it works with just about any fixture or finish you pair it with. What matters most though is the installation underneath - proper substrate prep, even spacing, and grout lines that stay sealed and consistent.

This bathroom still has finishing work to go - trim, fixtures, and final touches - but the bones are solid. That's how a good remodel works. You build the hard stuff right, and the rest falls into place. We'll have more updates as this one wraps up.
